My Yarndale Stash

Oh my goodness I had such a great time at the weekend at Yarndale! I will share some awesome photos of the even it’s self at a later date, but today I just want to share with you my purchases.

Check out my Insta for links to all of the vendors!

Charity Bear No. 2

So Yarndale is approaching and I was sitting in my living room working on my Hook n Learn blanket when I realised it is only a couple weeks away. I rushed to the web page for the Creative Community Project and realised I only had a few more days to get some teddy’s sent off! That came up quickly. So I dropped my blanket and got cracking on my second teddy, which, up until this point had no more than a pair of legs. Boy the hooks fly when you are under pressure!

Here is my second ted. Isn’t it sweet!

And now they are all packaged up to go to the post office in the morning. Yay!

A Charity Bear!

Hello all!

I know I have mentioned it a million times, but I AM GOING TO YARNDALE! I am super excited. It’s the first time I am going.

A couple of weeks ago they announced their Creative Community Project. They are requesting Trauma Teddies, used to bring comfort to sick children. What a great cause. You can find more details here.

The Crochet Teddy Pattern is by Lucy over at Attic 24. You can find the pattern here.

And here is my first Ted.

Can you think of a name? I am terrible at names. What does this Ted look like to you?

WIP Wednesday (14/08/19)

Were half way through August already! Mad isn’t it! Where do the weeks go!

I have 2 projects on my hooks this WIP Wednesday.

1. The Doris Shawl by Kat Goldin using Truly Hooked Standard Sock.

2. My first Trauma Teddy for the Yarndale 2019 Creative Community Project.

I only have to pop the arms on the teddy and then sew him up and stuff him, and I will get back to monogamously working on the shawl. Yes I know I said it before but I have no choice now. I only have 12 more days to finish it!
