Some Charity Hats

At the beginning of the week I share with you some mittens I made for Knit For Peace, to use up my random oddments of yarn. Well today I am popping in with some hats for the same purpose.

The first I made was the ‘Very Good Hat‘ pattern by Tamara Kelly on Moogly, in baby size, using the leftover Malabrigo worsted I used for my dad’s Christmas present.

I then went on to make the 30 Minute Basic Beanie by Diane Serviss. It actually took me 45 minutes but I was sipping coffee and gawping out of the train window at the snow too. I used the last of the Patons Big Fab which I initially bought to make the brim of the first ever hat I made for my fiance 4 years ago.

Then finally I made this little baby hat out of the remaining 15g of Noro Haniwa. I made this one up as I went along.

So that’s 3 more yarns cleared from my stash!
