Hi all! Another WIP post. August is almost over and I am still flying through crochet projects at a rate I never thought possible!
This week I am working on a hat. Another stashbuster. I have found this stashbusting lark incredibly useful as it means I am using up both yarn I have had for too long and patterns that have been languising in my ravelry que forever. I am nust making. Not worrying too much about the end recipient. I will worry about that closer to christmas.
This hat is called the Fall Lovin’ Beanie and I am making it in some ramsdale I have had in my stash for a while. I think this will be a great hat for one of the menfolk on my christmas gift list.
I have also finally got started on the Pick n Mix CAL which is the one before the Hook n Learn CAL on Simply Crochet Magazine. Its actually coming to me quite quicky and I am enjoying the first square! The colours are hard to photograph though. The red onthe left is actually fuchia. I am following the exact colour pack for this blanket. No modifications with this one.
I fear my crojo will soon be slightly impeded though. If you were into your gaming in the early late 90’s or early 2000’s you may remember Shenmue. For me it is possibly one of the greatest games of all time. EVER! And in anticipation of the eagerly awaited third game which is finally happening next year I beleive, they have re-released 1 and 2 on ps4! And it is arriving soon! Aaaaaaaaah! I couldnt be more excited if I tried! So perhaps this will be taking up most of my time over the next week or two. I deserve it though. I been getting poked and prodded by doctors all week what with scans and blood tests and company medicals so I can treat myself!
Anyways, keep your eyes peeled, I still have another make or two to share with you before the month is done.
